California Advisory Committee on Geographic Names: Proposed Regulations to Define “Offensive and Derogatory” Names CSAC is co-hosting a webinar with the California Advisory Committee on Geographic Names (CACGN), a committee within the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), to obtain input on their draft regulations to clarify the Petition Process for Renaming Offensive and Derogatory Public Geographic Features and Place Names. Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center Services for California Public Sector Entities The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is offering FREE enrollment in the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) for California public entities, to include state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) partners. CARB Adopts Cap-and-Invest Regulations Despite Concerns Over Climate Investment Funding On May 29, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) voted 10-3 to approve regulations for the Cap-and-Invest Program, the state's signature market-based climate policy that was reauthorized through 2045 last Fall.
