Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) request for an extension of
time to address Recommendations 4 and 5 (R-4 and R-5) from a 2021 external audit of
PG&E’s Owner’s Dam Safety Program. Included with PG&E’s extension of time request is a
reasoned basis for the request, per Title 18 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section
12.40(d). PG&E submitted the audit report with plans and schedules for addressing the
recommendations in a letter to FERC dated May 23, 2022. PG&E filed the most recent
correspondence regarding the subject recommendations with your office on April 30, 2024
(for R-4) and January 30, 2025 (for R-5).
The extension of time request and reason for the request are enclosed with this letter
(Enclosure 1).
