Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) request for extension of time to
address Recommendation 3b (R-3b) from the 11th Part 12D safety inspection report (dated
January 2021) for Grizzly Forebay Dam, which is part of PG&E’s Bucks Creek Hydroelectric
Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 619. Included with PG&E’s
extension of time request is a reasoned basis for the request, per Title 18 of the Code of Federal
Regulations, Section 12.40(d). PG&E provided its most-recent extension of time request regarding
R-3b in a November 10, 2023, letter to FERC.
The extension of time request for R-3b and reason for the request is enclosed with this letter
(Enclosure 1).
