For anyone new to this Substack that is not familiar with my name, I am a trade embalmer. I started out in 2001 as
an apprentice, funeral home director and embalmer and began as a full-time trade embalmer in 2015.
I am not employed by any particular funeral home. I travel to numerous funeral homes within a certain distance of
my home. I embalm far more bodies each year than someone who is employed by any one funeral home.
I started speaking out publicly in January of 2022 when I was first interviewed by Jane Ruby on her podcast. This
was shortly after funeral director John O’Looney began speaking out publicly about what he was witnessing in his
funeral home in the UK.
