Subject: Poe Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 2107): Draft 2025 Historic Properties
Management Plan Annual Report, Butte County, California
Dear Ms. Forrest:
The State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) received your submittal pursuant to
Section 6.5 of the Historic Properties Treatment Plan (HPMP) for the Poe Hydroelectric
Project (FERC No. 2107). A draft of the annual report was submitted on July 23, 2026,
with a review meeting held on August 12, 2026. An updated draft report with meeting
notes was submitted on July 12, 2026.
The following document was provided for review:
• Draft 2025 Annual Report Historic Properties Management Plan Implementation,
Poe Hydroelectric Project FERC No. 2107. Noel Jones, Pacific Gas and Electric
Company.
Following review of the Report, I find that it satisfies the requirements agreed to in the
Project HPMP. One note, on page 3, the title of the report has the date of 2024 instead
of 2025; I suggested updating this before the final draft. Please contact Lindasy Busse,
Associate State Archaeologist, at Lindsay.Busse@parks.ca.gov if you have any
questions or concerns.
