Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) request for an extension of
time to provide the final construction report on a project to replace lifting chains for flood gates
at Poe Dam, which is part of PG&E’s Poe Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission (FERC) No. 2107. Included with PG&E’s extension of time request is a reasoned
basis for the request, per Title 18 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 12.40(d). PG&E
submitted its original project package to FERC in a letter dated June 15, 2023, and provided its
most recent update for the project package in a letter dated February 28, 2025.
The extension of time request and reason for the request are enclosed with this letter (Enclosure 1).
