“Mike describes a harrowing ordeal. His 24-year-old daughter-in-law received
a COVID-19 vaccine after the first trimester of her pregnancy. Until that point,
the pregnancy was progressing perfectly and the baby was healthy.
Soon after, the situation deteriorated; the baby began developing severe
deformities in utero. Doctors informed the parents that the child would not
survive birth.
He did not.
The tragedy was compounded by the timing. Due to oppressive hospital
COVID mandates, his son and daughter-in-law were forced to endure the loss
in isolation. No grandparents were permitted at the bedside. They were denied
all family support. A young couple grieving the death of their son, kept apart
from their family and friends by bureaucratic cruelty.
They buried their child without family or loved ones standing next to them.”
