Correction to Notice of Proposed Changes in Regulations
Greetings,
On Friday, September 18, 2026, the Commission published a notice of
proposed changes in regulations regarding use of native rattlesnakes
(OAL Notice ID #Z2026-0908-01).
Under the section "Comments Submitted by Mail or Email" the written
comment deadline was mistakenly posted as December 11, 2027. The
correct date for the written comment deadline is December 11, 2026.
The notice has been updated on the Commission's website and can be
accessed at https://fgc.ca.gov/Regulations/2026-New-and-Proposed
under "Other".
A notice of correction highlighting the mistake is also available on the
Commission's website and will be published in the California Notice
Register on Friday, September 25, 2026 (OAL Notice ID #Z2026-0921-02).
Please refer to the notices for meeting dates and comment deadlines.
