A New Brunswick student told an inquiry she lost the use of her legs after a second Pfizer COVID
shot. That is her testimony. Jasmine Comeau said she was 16, active, no real health problems, when
school and sports made vaccination mandatory. First Pfizer dose, June 17, 2021: sore arm. Second
Pfizer dose, September 22, 2021 - the day it became mandatory in the province - she said she was
rushed through a consent form and not warned of serious injury. Within minutes: stiff neck, heavy
cold feeling in the arm, headache, tingling in both feet. Next morning her legs were weak. Within
five days she could not feel them. She said an ER doctor called it a flu until her mother, a nurse,
named Guillain-Barré and pushed for tests. Steroids brought feeling back in the right leg. Five years
on she says the left foot still drags, pain is daily, travel knocks her out, and she had long night-time
leg tremors. She is describing what happened to her after that second Pfizer shot. It is not a court
finding on cause. Can anyone think of any other possible causes for such an injury in a healthy
16‑year‑old girl?
