“Appearing Tuesday on Newsmax's "Greg Kelly Reports," Navarro said
Bartiromo had sent him an internal Fox directive after booking him to
discuss President Donald Trump's July 16 address concerning China
and election interference. Navarro said he forwarded the
communication to the White House.
According to Navarro, the White House subsequently contacted Fox
News CEO Suzanne Scott and made clear that the network's position
was "totally unacceptable."
Navarro accused Fox of retaliating against Bartiromo over the episode,
an allegation Fox has not publicly confirmed.
"She just went out and fired Maria Bartiromo," Navarro told Newsmax,
adding: "And that place is out of control."
Navarro also attacked Fox's relationship with its conservative audience,
arguing that supporters of Trump and the MAGA movement should not
trust the network.
"They'll feed you some red meat over there," Navarro said, before
alleging that Fox pushes out personalities willing to discuss MAGA
issues.
In the years after 2020 and before Trump's return in 2024, many pro-
Trump personalities were banned from appearing on Fox, including
Navarro, Karoline Leavitt, Pam Bondi, Kari Lake, Charlie Kirk, and
others.
Fox has not said Bartiromo's departure was connected to the internal
communication or Navarro's decision to forward it to the White House.
For now, Bartiromo herself is offering few details — but her first public
message suggests her silence may not last much longer.”
